All team members are together responsible to achieve the Sprint Goal.

To make this happen people must help each other. When someone in the team have encountered an impediment this person must get help from others in the team. During the Daily Scrum impediments are identified. It is the responsibility for the whole team to eliminate the impediments for each other. Remember the motto for the Alexandre Dumas’ Three Musketeers: “One for All, One for All”.

A friend of mine joined a team where most of them were new to Scrum. Two guys in the team were complaining to their manager about the Scrum method and claimed that it didn’t work. They also told the manager that their team will probably not reach their Sprint Goal for this Sprint. Fortunately, these two guys have at least done their tasks in the Sprint Backlog, so they had done their job! The problem was the other guys in the Team.

These people had failed to build a cohesive team. Don’t let this happen in your team.
