In the Daily Scrum meeting each member presents their status to the rest of the team.

When they are presenting their status they are referring to features and tasks in the Sprint Backlog. Some guys have completed tasks and others may be blocked by an impediment that is in the way to complete tasks.

The Daily Scrum is often held in front of the Sprint Backlog Board so that it easier to refer to a specific task. The Sprint Burndown may also be available on the Sprint Board.

It is quite obvious that the Daily Scrum creates a high focus on the Sprint Backlog. The primary goal of the team is to reach the Sprint Goal and complete all features and tasks in the Sprint Backlog.
